Who we are

Sante Express provides home-based healthcare services to individuals and families in our community. You can reach us by email at [email protected], by phone at +1 (773) 551-6117 or +237 651 759 428, or at Ground Floor, Rovi Estate, Molyko, Buea, South West Region, Cameroon.

Information you give us

  • Appointment requests: your name, date of birth, sex, email address, the reason for your visit, the type of appointment, your preferred date and time, and any message you add.
  • Messages: anything you send us through a form, by email or by phone.
  • Donations: your name, email address, billing details, the amount, and any tribute or dedication details you choose to add. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Shop orders: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and what you ordered. Card payments are handled by WooPayments, which is powered by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Health information

Our appointment form asks for the reason for your visit so we can prepare for your care. We use it only to arrange and provide that care.

Our website is not a medical records system. Please do not send detailed medical history, test results or identity numbers through the website. Bring them to your appointment, or call us and we will tell you how to share them safely.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and Cloudflare (which protects and speeds up the site) record basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. These records are used to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the site needs to work:

  • cookies that keep your cart and checkout working in the shop;
  • cookies that keep a donation form working while you fill it in;
  • a login cookie, if you sign in to an account;
  • a security cookie set by Cloudflare to block automated attacks.

We do not use advertising cookies or visitor tracking tools. If you play a YouTube video embedded on our site, YouTube may set its own cookies.

How we use your information

  • to reply to your messages and appointment requests;
  • to arrange and provide care;
  • to process donations and orders and send receipts;
  • to keep the website secure and working;
  • to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only when needed to run the website and our services:

  • Hosting: our website host stores the site and its data.
  • Cloudflare: delivers the site and protects it from attacks.
  • Stripe and WooPayments: process card payments for donations and orders.
  • Google Fonts: supplies some of the fonts on the site. Your browser’s IP address is sent to Google when the fonts load.
  • YouTube: shows embedded videos when you choose to play them.
  • People involved in your care, when that is needed to provide it.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Our website and these providers may process information in the United States, Cameroon and other countries.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Donation and order records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we will respond as soon as we can.

Security

The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS), is backed up regularly, and access to its data is limited to the people who need it. No website can be completely secure, so please contact us right away if you think something is wrong.

Children

This website is not meant to be used by children under 13 on their own. A parent or guardian can request care for a child.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as our social media pages. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
